Dec 4/04 Zsofi finished her Cdn Champion title in
grand style at the Brantford & District Kennel Club show under Judge
Marilyn O'Neil. After
taking first in the Bred-by-Exhibitor
class, this judge picked her for
Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite Sex (over a female Special) and Best of
Winners over the male (Winners Dog) for a total of 3 points. She
finished with 12 points all together. Congratulations to her owners,
Mike & Jill!
Oct. 30 - 31/04 At the Trillium Dog Fanciers Club
on Saturday, Oct. 30 with a total entry of 8 Vizslas, judge Robert Stein from
Nevada, USA. selected Zsofi for Winners Bitch from the Bred-by
Exhibitor class for 2 points. On Sunday, Oct. 31 with an entry of 9
Vizslas, judge Norman Patton of California selected Zsofi for Winners
Bitch, Best of Breed and Best of Winners for 3 points! Zsofi
now has 9 points. Congratulations!!
Oct. 24/04 At the
Brittany Spaniel Club of Ontario's field dog test, Zsofi earned her 3rd
& final leg of her Field Dog Jr. (hunting) title. Way to go
Zsofi!
Oct. 16-17, 2004 Zsofi
earned 2 legs towards her Field Dog Jr. title with scores of 82 &
76/100 at the Vizsla Society of Ontario's field dog tests. Zsofi was handled by her breeder & co-owner.
Aug.
29/04 Under Weimaraner breeder, Rosemary Shoreham of Ontario, Zsofi
took Winners Bitch from the bred-by exhibitor class for 2 points &
then went on to take Best of Breed & Best of Winners for another
point, earning her 3 points at the Markham Kennel Club show. Zsofi
was handled in the Best of Breed ring by her owner, Jill!
Aug. 14/04 Zsofi
earned her first championship point by taking Winners Bitch at the St.
Catharines dog show under judge, R. Ennis from NY. She was handled by her
breeder in the Bred-by exhibitor class.
July 11, 2004 Zsofi
was only entered in the regular classes at Vizsla Canada's Specialty show,
not sweeps, and she took 2nd in the Bred-by class under judge Linda
Millman.
July 10, 2004 At the Viszla
Society of Ontario's specialty show, Zsofi won the 12-18 month old
sweepstakes class under GSP breeder/sweeps judge, Heather Brennan. There
were 10 bitches in the class. In the regular judging, after much deliberation by Sporting breeder /
judge Marilyn O-Neil between Zsofi and another bitch in the Bred-By
Exhibitor class, Zsofi placed second and then went on to take Reserve
Winners Bitch. As it was a very large bitch class entry (25), we were
thrilled with Reserve! Judge O'Neil commented on how much she liked
Zsofi.
July 9, 2004 Zsofi took 3rd place in
the Bred-by Exhibitor class under Judge Robert Gilham at a Vizsla
Canada Booster show in Woodstock, ON.
May 31, 2004 Zsofi
earned 97 out of 112 at the Toronto Chapter of NAVHDA's Natural Ability
test to earn her first title! Zsofi is the first dog in this litter
to earn a title. Congratulations and way to go to her owner & handler,
Mike Mjanes!
May 22-23/04 Zsofi was at her
first conformation show. Despite being in "season", on May 22 she took Best Puppy
in Breed at the Kitchener/Waterloo Kennel Club show defeating 4 other
puppies, including the Winners Male! On May 23, she took Reserve Winners
female.
Zsofi has beautiful conformation and
is also proving to be an incredible hunting dog. She has started being shown in
conformation to earn her championship title and has already earned her field
title (spring 2004).
