November 21, 2009 Shandy and her owner
Chrissie Diron braved the elements (cold wind, torrential rain and on the way
home snow too!) to attend the CKC rallyO trials in Courtenay, BC. They had
a great day though - brought home 2 "legs" towards her RA (rally
advanced) title! Good scores (94/100 and 96/100 respectively), the latter earned
her 2nd in class. They will have to wait until the New Year to get to any
more events like this, but with just one leg of her CKC RA to go and one leg of
her CARO RE, Chrissie is confident they can look forward to 2 new titles in 2010
:-). Congratulations to Chrissie & Shandy!

B at the Forbidden Plateau Obedience and Tracking Club, Courtenay, BC
Sept 27, 2008 Completed her Rally Advanced title in the Cdn Assoc.
of Rally Obedience.
May 25/08 Earned her first
CKC rally novice leg.
May 11-12, 2007 2 titles in 2
days! Shandy finished her CKC Agility Intermediate title on May 11
and the next day, earned her final qualifying leg for her CKC Companion
Dog title. Way to go Chrissie and Jens!
September 16/06 Shandy earned
the final leg of her Rally Novice title (Cdn Assoc of Rally Obed) with a
score of 194 / 200 and 2nd place overall. She & her owner then
went on to earn their first 2 legs towards a Rally Advanced (CARO) title.
August 23/06 It turns out that Shandy had
actually accumulated an extra championship point in June which took her up
to the 10 points she needed. So she's a new Canadian show
Champion! Congratulations to Shandy & her owner/handler Chrissie
Diron for a job well done!
June 16-18/06 Took Winners Bitch all 3 days
for 3 more
points at the Nanaimo Kennel Club's show under judges Terry Gains, Everet
Mincey & Allan Brown. On Sat., June 17th, Shandy also took Best
of Opposite Sex and on Sunday, June 18 - Best of Breed That
takes her up to 9 pts for her Cdn Championship needing only 1 more point
to finish her title. Congratulations to
owner/handler Chrissie Diron for a fine showing & 3 points in 1
Sept. 17/05 Earned 2 passing scores (180 & 187) in her
first-ever Novice Rally-Obedience trials.
July 24, 2005 Took 2 more points for
Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex under judge Alan Pepper at the
Sporting Dog Club of BC Specialty Show. Is now up to 6 points for her
June 18-19/05 Earned a total of 4 pts this
weekend, her first conformation points under judges Richard Felher (2 pts
for WB & Best of Opposite Sex) and Edna St. Hilaire (2 pts for WB
& Best of Opposite Sex). Congratulations Shandy!

Campbell River Dog Fanciers Society - Under judges David
Denis, Ladysmith BC and Lorraine Perron, Kelowna BC, Shandy earned two more RE
legs to finished her CKC Rally Excellent title with scores of 95 and 87
respectively and two 1sts/Highs in Class!! At the same trials,
Shandy's daughter, Vitali's Universal Gold, also earned two legs towards
her Rally Novice title.

David R Denis of Ladysmith BC, Shandy's
daughter "Murphy" ( Vitali�s Intrepid Murphy) bred and owned by
Christina & Jens Diron took Best of Breed and a Group 4th for 3 points!
June 16, 2012 Nanaimo KC, earned her first CKC Rally Excellent leg with a
scores of 86 / 100 under judge Carolyn Wray.
October 9-10, 2010 - Competed in 4 IABAC all
breed shows in Washington state to earn her International Champion (UCI CB)
title and received 4
V1 (Excellent) ratings by 4 judges.
May 17, 2010 - Tyee Kennel Club, completed her final CKC Rally
Advanced title with scores of 86 and 86 under judge Stephen Hazelwood.
|Shandy lives with other Vizslas
humans on Vancouver Island. Their humans immigrated to Canada in May
2003 and built The Vancouver Island Therapy And Leisure K9 Pool in Errington,
BC, Vancouver Island's only canine, water therapy facility. Their grand
opening was May 2004. They have now sold the facility (photo
below) and moved to another location on Vancouver Island.
