PUPPIES
We are expecting puppies mid-June 2008.
Miska, whose photo is pictured in the L side bar menu, is the
future mom. She's has lovely conformation, lots of energy, a wonderful temperament and very strong hunting abilities.
She is also fun-loving, mischievous, and a great retriever of all things. Right
now she's training for her Companion Dog Excellent (obed) title and her Field
Dog Excellent (hunting) title although some of that will be on hold during her
maternity leave. She was bred to an Australian import named Ozzie. Ozzie is a beautiful dog with
wonderful conformation and an exceptional temperament; he also
loves to hunt. He comes from the well-known kennels of Hubertus in
Australia that has produced several Grand Champions in Australia.
Six generations behind both Ozzie and Miska can
be found Russetmantle Grebe of Gardenway (breeder Gay Gottlieb of England) and
Gardenway Bula (breeder/judge Jackie Perkins of England). Gardenway
Bula was Jackie's first champion and Grebe was the breed's youngest Vizsla
to earn a show champion title in England. Grebe and Bula were the
foundation stock for Gardenway Vizslas in England.
On Miska's American side, her father Sasha was
the 2007 Vizsla Society of Ontario's Tibor Reiter versatile trophy winner at the
age of 15 and
her paternal grandmother, Lizzie, was the Vizsla Club of America's national
specialty show's Winner's Bitch in the 1980's. Lizzi was a littermate to
the 1986 VCA's National Specialty Show's Best of Breed Am CH Kezdet's Darazs
Boone (Boone) bred by Judy Vernon and Dr. Jean Dodds.
