July 12-13, 2003 Lola was awarded Best of Opposite Sex at both the
Viszla Society of Ontario's specialty sweepstakes (GSP pointer breeder
& sweeps judge, Pat Iredale) and Vizsla Canada's national specialty
sweepstakes (Vizsla breeder & sweeps judge, Peter McGuinness) and made
the cut for Best of Breed at Vizsla Canada's national specialty show.
Quite an accomplishment for a one-year old dog.
June 1, 2003 - Lola finished her Championship under Dr. Michael Woods from Rhode
Island, defeating Sr. & Open female bitches for her final 2
points. Way to go Lola
May 11/03, Lola takes Winners Bitch for 2 points under Sporting Breeder/Judge,
Virginia Lyne of BC at the Forest City dog show in Dorchester, ON.
Lola is now up to 8 points.
On
May 4, 2003, Lola takes her second Best Puppy in Sporting Group,
this time under Sporting Dog Judge/Breeder Honey Glendinning of BC at the
Seaway Kennel Club show in Thorold, Ontario .
Back in 1998, this same judge awarded a BPG to Lola's mother, Tasha!
At
her 5th show (April 18/03) under International Judge, Mr. M. Knoll from
Argentina, Lola is awarded Best of Breed from the Sr. Puppy class over
other puppies and Open Bitches for 2 points. She is now up to 6
points. On April 19/03, Lola takes Best Puppy in Breed.
At
her 4th show (Orangeville & District Kennel Club) on March 9/03, Lola takes Best of Breed, makes the cut in
the Sporting Group, and takes Best Puppy in Group with Judge Eva Witmore
who says "She's a lovely puppy, the best Vizsla I've seen in
years!!"
At
Lola's first show, Feb. 8, 2003, she took Winners Bitch, Best of
Winners, Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed from the Jr. Puppy
class, beating 5 other Vizslas and earning 3 points! Thomas
Alexander of Manitoba was the judge.
