Accomplishments
- March 27/04 A
Toronto artist, Lisa Graziotto, was commissioned to paint a portrait of
Jupiter as a Christmas present to Jupiter's owners last year. The artist
submitted a photo of Jupiter's portrait for a juried show of artists,
artisans and designers for Toronto's spring One of a Kind show and
not only was her application accepted for inclusion in the show, but
Jupiter's portrait appeared in Canada's National Globe and Mail newspaper ad
on March 27/04 to advertise the show. Jupiter's photo also appears in
colour on the One
of a Kind website. Of course, Jupiter's family & I are
tickled pink about this and are enjoying Jupiter's spotlight. Jupiter
remains modest and completely unaffected by her new 'fame' & is not
currently giving any interviews as far as I know. -) But, she is always on
hand to sign autographed pictures if her fans so desire.
- Feb. 15/04 - Under Judge Doug Gaudin of
Woodstock, ON, Jupiter took Winners Bitch for 3 points, Best of Breed over 2 male specials,
including the #1 Vizsla in Canada and Best of Winners for another
1 point to finish her Cdn Championship. In total, she defeated 11
Vizslas that day! What a spectacular way to finish her title!
- Dec. 6 & 7/03 - Jupiter earned 4
points at the Brantford & District shows under judges Robert Ennis
and Donald Emslie. And at the Saturday show under Judge Ennis,
she took Best of Opposite Sex over 2 female Specials!
- Sept. 14/03 Jupiter took Winners Female
and Best of Opposite Sex for 2 points at her 2nd ever show!
