At Vizsla Canada's first National Specialty Show (1998), Abby was selected Best Canadian Bred Vizsla out of an outstanding field of Vizslas, and also awarded the Kemenes-Kettner Award (for best Cdn bred).  She won this award again at the 1999 National Specialty Show in BC as well as Best of Opposite Sex.  Once again, Abby took Best of Opposite Sex over a large entry of lovely Specials at Vizsla Society of Ontario's Specialty Show (Nov. 26, 1999) under Vizsla Breeder/Judge Jackie Perkins (England) of Gardenway Vizslas who commented that Abby was very typey and very lovely.

Thanks to her sire's owner/breeder, Diane Shearer of Legacy Vizslas, Abby completed her American Championship title on May 7, 2000 (right).  Abby made the cut from the Specials bitches' group at the 2000 VCA Nationals, Hyannis, MA, only one of 13 bitches out of 44 to do so.

On December 21, 2000, Abby was bred to International & Am CH Voros Vadasz Cyrus Barat MH CGC and delivered 7 healthy puppies (5 males & 2 females) on February 21, 2001. 

Abby is very similar to her mother, Nekah, in size (21.5") and appearance (short back, very pretty).  Unlike most of the Vizslas in our lines, Abby is a chow hound, a voracious eater.  Most of our dogs would rather play than eat or eat slowly and reluctantly.  Training Abby with food is dangerous since she's like a piranha!  Watch out!  As a puppy, Abby was a little quieter than her other three sisters but she has turned out to be a confident, fun-loving, assertive and loving Vizsla who loves stuffed toys and is a real chow-hound.
