February 7, 2009 Sahuaro Kennel Club, Phoenix AZ. Gryphon completed his AKC Rally Excellent title and he was also Best in Veteran Sweepstakes at the Rio Salado Vizsla Specialty Show!
June 7 - 8, 2008 Gryphon took first place in his class at the Vizsla Club of Northern California Veteran Sweepstakes and the following day, earned his first Rally Excellent leg. Way to go!
January 20, 2008. Completed his AKC Rally Advanced title!
November 17, 2007 Gryphon finished his AKC Rally Novice title at the San Luis Obispo KC. The next day he took a 4th place!
July 9, 2004 Earned his first leg towards a Cdn CKC Campanion Dog (CD) at the Woodstock shows in Woodstock, Ontario.
September 2003 - Gryphon earned his International Champion title - the first Varazs-bred dog to do so! And, he took 2 Best of Breeds and a Group 3rd at California dog shows. Way to go Gryphon & owner Elizabeth Packer!
August 2, 2003 - Gryphon earned his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title.October 13, 2002 - Gryphon became an American Champion on October 13, 2002! And, Elizabeth and Gryphon earned their first leg towards their Companion Dog title at the Vizsla Nationals in Prescott, AZ on Nov. 14, 2002, and also placed 4th in Novice B. Great work and congratulations!!
May 2002 - Congratulations to Elizabeth Packer and Gryphon for earning his final 2 legs of his Junior Hunter title in early May, 2002. He earned this title in 4 straight tests and with NO formal training! At his last test, most of the dogs failed but Gryphon found his birds & held his point a very long time. Gryphon also took Best of Breed over Specials and 18 other Vizslas on May 11 for a 3 point major in his second conformation show. Judge Sharon Francis loved him!. When it came time for Group, she had him in 2nd position but Gryphon is young and was very tired. He couldn't quite hold his stack and ended up in 5th place, just missing a group placement. But well done Elizabeth and Gryphon!!
April 2002 - Gryphon earned two legs towards his Junior Hunter title with no formal training. Congratulations to his owner/handler, Elizabeth Packer!
